We are proud to be a Virginia Clean Marina…and the second marina in the entire state to be designated a Virginia Green Tourism destination! We strive to protect the environment and give back to the community through responsible business practices.
Our ongoing efforts include:
- Annually hosting the Flounder Tournament to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Virginia, donating our services and facilities in full.
- Developing a sustainability plan to lower energy usage, minimize the impact on the local waterway, and increase recycling.
- Serving as one of the only private marinas serving as a hosting site for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s annual Clean the Bay Day. In 2013 the group hauled in nearly 2,000 pounds of trash!

The baby oysters, or “spats,” grew up in our oyster nursery–another way we support the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Virginia Oyster Restoration Center.
